Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Taylor Made International Code of Signals boat flag set. This is going to let you communicate to other boaters while you're out on the water. It does include 40 signal flags, including all 26 letters of the alphabet, as well as your numbers, zero through nine, three repeater flags and a answering pennant. The flags themselves are nylon.
So they are going to catch the wind very easily. You can see they come rolled up so that they fit into those pockets and just simply undo the string there to unfold them.These flags are nice and large in total. They're about 18 inches tall and 24 inches wide. They are going to fold up into this curing case we have here, and this is going to be right about 14 inches tall, seven inches wide, and then about five inches in thickness. So it should be pretty easy to get stored on your boat so that if you ever do need to communicate by flag, you'll have it there for you.
These flags are very easy to get folded up because of their lightweight material. It's also going to allow them to flat very easily so that you can show off your symbol even in wide winds. I think these will do a good job of catching the wind, allowing you to display the message that you we're trying to send out. That's pretty much all there is to our Taylor Made International Code of Signals boat flags. They advertise these as boat flags. I use them on my snow plow one on each side as edge markers. It’s just a snow plow for my pick up but I like having the flags on there and every year I have to replace them under normal circumstances but with these flags, I do not have to replace them this year after year on the plow. They look great, and they’ve held up well.
Quality flag and pole setup
I've spent the past 5 months, completely refurbishing a 1958 Arkansas Traveler 14ft alum. V-hull boat and a 1988 Holsclaw Bros trailer. During that time I've placed at least a half dozen orders from etrailer, as they simply have a vast variety of items and and their website is fantastic, easy to use and their deliveries are prompt and efficient. This flag was the last item I added to this project and being retired military, I think it dressed up the vessel beautifully and I can't wait to see it waving in the breeze during the fall fishing season here in NH!
Have had this product, flag for one year and it is doing great. Mounted on our Skiff no issues with mounting or fade so far.
Exactly what I wanted for my SxS.
We live on a 540 acre all sports private lake in the state of Michigan. Instead of flying the American flag like others along the shore line we are flying our last name of Seymour spelled out. Not sure how many boaters that cruise by know what it says, but we do! And we get a lot of compliments on these flags. Thanks

This flag looks to be made well, and is very bright, which I think is great! However I have not used it as of now so I'm not sure how durable it is. The only thing that disappointed me with this order is that it took so long to receive it. I ordered another flag after I ordered this one and received it in a matter of days not weeks like this order.

The flag arrived as described and in good condition.
The material is of decent quality. The image is good but could be much better. My disappointment is that the image is only readable on one side of the flag. The other side is like looking at everything backwards, words and all. Most flags are readable on both sides. The colors are good and only time will tell if it lasts.
It only lasted a few months
I had a taylor made pirate flag on my boat for ten years. Same one at that. Iget my new one and the first outing it ripps up. The reason i went with Taylor was because of the years my old one lasted. I dought this will last to the end of the year.
